Data Notes

Age-adjusted to U.S. 2000 population. Diabetes deaths include those with ICD10 codes E10 - E14 and as underlying cause of death.  A change to New Mexico's population estimates has caused an artificial increase in age-adjusted rates from 2006 to 2007. U.S. data for 2009 is preliminary.
